Mrs. Betty Mullins gained her heavenly wings on Monday, June 6, 2022 in Clovis, NM at her home.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 10:00 am in the Steed Todd Funeral Chapel with Pastor Johnny Funderburg officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Melrose Cemetery.
Betty Mullins was born in Dougherty, OK on September 5, 1938 to Leonard and Jewell Ross and attended Melrose Schools. Betty married Mennell Mullins on April 10, 1954 in Portales, NM.
At a very young age she started waitressing at a small cafe in Melrose NM later, Betty and Mennell started an auction service, Mennell's Auction in Clovis, NM. Everyone that met Betty fell in love with her instantly. She enjoyed country western dancing with her husband, family and friends and would always win at cards games by sneaking a card or two in between her toes. She also loved to watch the white doves eating from the bird feeders from her window. Betty will be remembered for her love of fishing, playing Soduku puzzles and the color red.
Betty Mullins is preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Jewell Ross, her husband Mennell Mullins, brothers Bill, Jim and W.E. Ross, sister Peggy Lou Ross, sister in law Jean Ross, brother in law, Don Fitz.
She is survived by her daughter Dawan (Dave) Wells, son Steven Mullins, sister Beverly Fitz, Grandchildren; Shana(George), Julie(Tim). Great Grandchildren; Treyton, Raigan, Tylie, Jait, and Great great grandson; Wailen
Pallbearers; Grandchildren, Shana, Julie, Treyton, Raigan, Tylie, Jait, George and Tim.
Honorary Pallbearers; All family and friends.
