Betty Jean O'Flynn

Betty O'Flynn, 83, passed away in her home surrounded by her family Saturday, September 27, 2025. She was born in Marion County KY July 9, 1942 to Ed and Cora Ruley, both deceased. Also preceding her was one sister, Betty Jean (infant), and six bothers, Pete, Donnie, Bobby, Carl, Ray, and Larry. She is survived by her husband of 47 years Patrick; three sons, Michael (Becky), Timmy (Brittany), and Paul (Heather); Patrick's children, she loved as her own, Michelle (Tony) and Sean (Paula); eight grandchildren, Wesley, Taylor, Samantha, Alex, Katey, Jack, Andrew, and Noah; Patrick's grandchild she loved as her own, Serena; great-grandchildren, Eli, Lorelia, Jonah, Jordan, and Anastasia; two sisters, Linda (Tony) and Phyllis (Rich); three brothers, Wayne (Nancy), Dean, and Marvin (Margy) and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins
Betty retired from PLCO Federal Credit Union after 23 years. Her biggest joys were her faith in God, family, and University of Louisville Sports.
Visitation will be from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 1, 2025 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, Louisville KY 40216. Her funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Owen Funeral Home, with entombment to follow at Calvary Cemetery 1600 Newburg Rd, Louisville, KY 40205,
