Betty Jane (Furness) Pangborn, born Betty Jane on July 10, 1944, in Essexville, Michigan, passed away at home in Hampton Township on January 18, 2026. She was born July 10, 1944 to the late Lucille (Gage) Bolda. Betty was a dedicated worker, Betty held positions at Hammell in Bad Axe, Durham Drapers, and Weck producing surgical supplies.

Her houseplants were truly a work of art, admired by all. She treasured road trips, funny stories, and card games with family. Her cat, Baby, was her pride, joy and companion in recent years. Betty's baked beans, Banana and Zucchini bread were amongst the favorites.
