I had the pleasure of meeting Betty years ago after she opened the shop. I would be in VBC hunting and would buy a piece of Queen Anne´s Pottery as a "get home free" package for my wife. Unknown to me, one day we would move to VBC and my wife would be working for Betty. Always a kind and gentle person, we became closer friends just like hundreds of others from near and far. She would give me advise on all sorts of things, to numerous to mention here, but I´m indebted to her for her kindness, giving of herself and sharing so much. She will be missed by many but a lot of them will have fond remembrances thru the beautiful pottery her hands so carefully crafted!!I Thank The Lord, HE put Betty in my life....it´s much better because she lived!!
