Betty Ripley Obituary

Betty worked for Ranco, starting at the age 18 and retiring from there at the age of 65. Betty loved to read, puzzles, her rooster collection and most importantly THE OHIO STATE BUCKEYES! Betty made it home just in time to cheer them on to beat TTUN!
Besides her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband Ronald Ripley; grandson Bryan North; brother, Robert Hanscel; sisters Barbara Moore and Bonnie Whitley; and son-in-law Charles Ford.
Betty is survived by her children: Debbie (Jim) Kreinest, Susan (Greg) Berry, Harold (Shelley) Ripley, Rhonda Reece and Cathy Jenkins (Tim Gabbert); brother Benjamin Hanscel; and seven grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 26, 2025 from 11 AM-1PM at Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 East Main Street Plain City, Ohio 43064. A funeral service will follow at 1 PM with Pastor Phil Conrad officiating. Interment to follow at Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City, Ohio.
