Betty J. Roark, age 79, of Rocky Mount, Missouri passed away on October 28, 2025, at St Mary's Hospital in Jefferson, City, Missouri. She was born on July 27, 1946, in California, Missouri; a daughter of Adelbert and Mary (Woods) Clenin. She was united in marriage to her lifelong love, Bill Roark on July 31, 1964, in Eldon. They shared 57 years together at the time of his passing on January 31, 2022.
Betty loved playing bingo at the Rocky Mount Lions Club, and watching Antique Road Show, NCIS, and Law and Order. In her younger years she enjoyed working in her flower beds and gardening. Betty loved her dog Rosie, but she loved spending time with her family and friends. She treasured each moment with them. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Betty is survived by her children Jeff Roark (Candi) of Rocky Mount, Missouri, Roy Roark of Barnett, Missouri, Erin Lampe (Dale) of Rocky Mount, Missouri; her grandchildren Abigail Emert (Bryan) of Independence,Kansas, Josh Roark (Elly) of Eldon, Missouri, Emily Vandiver (Eric) of Russellville, Arkansas, Ben Roark (Anna) of Independence, Kansas, Dale Lampe Jr. of Rocky Mount, Missouri, and Aaron Cuddy of Rocky Mount, Missouri; her great-grandchildren Kason Emert, Slater Emert (William), and Arthur Roark; her sister Linda Humphrey (Gene) of Newburg, Missouri; other relatives and many friends.
Betty was preceded by her husband Bill Roark and her parents Adelbert and Mary Clenin.
Friends will be received from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes-Eldon. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes-Eldon.
Burial will be at the Union Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy can be made to Union Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Homes, 902 East North Street, Eldon, MO 65026 (573) 392-3351. Condolences may be left online for the family at www.hedgesscottmillard.com.
