BETTY G ROSE

BETTY G ROSE, a beloved member of her community known for her warm spirit and engaging personality, passed away on March 12, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. Born on August 22, 1939, in Tyler, Texas, Betty lived a life filled with joy, connection, and kindness.

From her beginnings in Tyler to her later years in Dallas, Betty was cherished by all who knew her. She was widely recognized for her happy disposition, straightforward nature, and infectious sense of humor. A truly lovable soul, Betty’s presence was a comforting and uplifting force to friends and family alike. She had a special talent for baking, often sharing her delicious creations generously, a reflection of her giving heart.

Betty’s love of coffee was well known, and she was just as passionate about her gardening, skillfully nurturing her plants with the same care and devotion she showed to people. She was an aficionado of Westerns and game shows, especially enjoying "Wheel of Fortune" and "Jeopardy." Among her fondest moments were family conversations, where she found joy in sharing stories, laughter, and thoughtful dialogue.

Her memory will be honored beginning with a visitation at the Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 S R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, Texas 75224, on March 25, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will follow on March 26, 2026, also at the Golden Gate Funeral Home, beginning at 1:00PM.  Burial will follow at Laurel Land Cemetery.                                                                                                                                                                                        

Betty Rose will be remembered as everybody’s favorite, a giver, and a friend whose presence lightened any room. Her legacy of kindness, laughter, and love will remain in the hearts of those she touched throughout her remarkable life.
