Betty Ruth McGee Obituary
Kernersville- Mrs. Betty Ruth Crews McGee, 96, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025, at Kernersville Medical Center. She was born April 21, 1929, in Forsyth County, the daughter of Thomas Lee and Norma Smith Crews. She was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and was retired from Sara Lee Hosiery after 30 years of service. Betty loved the Lord and enjoyed fishing and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul E. McGee; and two brothers, Thomas Lee Crews, Jr. and James P. Crews.
Betty is survived by her son, Dale E. McGee of Kernersville.
A graveside service will be held at 11 AM Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Eastlawn Gardens of Memory with Pastor Steve Roberson and Pastor Jeff Broadstreet officiating. The family will receive friends after the service at the grave.
Hayworth-Miller Kernewrsville Chapel is assisting the family.
