Mrs. Sanches enjoyed morning walks, coffee, and coca cola. She loved her church family and never met a stranger. She loved her grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with them. Mrs. Sanches was an excellent cook. She liked taking trips to Galveston with her husband, J.R. Sanches. Above all, she was an outstanding wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her granddaughter and husband, Faith and Eddie Bentley of Lufkin; grandson and wife, Kenneth and Janis Sanches of Pollok; granddaughter and husband, Patricia and Joe Koperski of Alto; great-grandson and wife, Christopher and Lindsey Bentley of San Augustine; great- granddaughter and husband, Candy and Sandy Kong of Lufkin; great-grandson, Caylon Bentley of Lufkin; great-granddaughter and husband, Misty Sanches-Ford and Chris Ford of Lumberton; great- granddaughter, April Sanches of Orange; great great-grandson, and wife, Logan and Courtney Bentley of Wells; great great-grandson, Wyatt Bentley of San Augustine; great great-granddaughter, Piper Bentley of San Augustine; great great-grandson, Brody Kong of Lufkin; great great-granddaughter, Annabelle Ford of Lumberton; great great-granddaughter, Emma Ford of Lumberton; niece, Carolyn Peacock-Hughes of Hudson; niece, Phyllis (Peacock) Campbell of Cleveland; nephew, Roy Spears of Zavalla; nephew, Dennis Ray Sammon of Zavalla; and special friends, Donna Dove, Russell Mullin, and Debbie Ditsworth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.R Sanches; son, Danny Colwell Sanches; great great-granddaughter, Gemma Bentley; siblings; Helen, Robbie Jean, Ruby Maxine, Nina Ruth, Charles Ray, Barbara Ann, David and Doris.
Pallbearers will be Roy Spears, Caylon Bentley, Chris Ford, Steven Massey, William Martin, Jace Ditsworth, and Sandy Kong.
Honorary pallbearers will be Danny Havard and Ted Aburn.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2024, at Shafer Funeral Home.
