Betty June Sizemore, born on January 11, 1931, went to be with the Lord on October 16, 2025. She is preceded in death by her parents James and Rosa Horton and her husband of 62 ½ years William E. Sizemore Sr. Betty is survived by one sister Gertrude Ann Bowes of Plymouth, North Carolina, one brother Carl Horton and wife Mexie of Bland, Virginia, son Bruce S. Sizemore and wife Mary Ann of Bristol, Virginia, son William E. Sizemore Jr. and wife Dawn of Powhatan, Virginia, son Brent E. Sizemore and wife Amy of Townville, South Carolina, six grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted on Saturday October 18, 2025, at Cravens-Shires Funeral Home, Bluewell West Virginia, by Brother Chuck Trent. Friends may visit from 12:00 to 1:00 with the service at 1:00. Interment to follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Cancer Society or Brushfork United Methodist Church.
Cravens-Shires Funeral Home is serving the Sizemore family.
