Betty Rose Smith, born on February 27, 1957, in London, Kentucky, was the beloved daughter of the late Gillis Carl Gilliam and China Faye Hibbard Gilliam. She was united in marriage to Eugene Smith who preceded her in death. She passed away on November 20, 2025, at the age of 68. Betty is survived by her sister, Patsy Evans, and her husband Robert, both residing in London, Kentucky, along with a host of relatives and friends who mourn her passing.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Eddie Gilliam.

Betty worked as a factory worker for Micro Devices and was of the Christian faith.

At this time, no services are scheduled, but any future services will be announced by Bowling Funeral Home.

So very sorry to hear this. Betty was one of my best friends at Johnson School. We used to stay alnight at each others home. Loved her parents and sister too. Prayers for all.
