Betty Carol Stafford, 70, of Scottsville, KY passed away Monday, April 14, 2025 at Norton's Womens Hospital in Louisville, KY. The Burkesville, KY native was a former employee of Dollar General Store, Washington Overall Manufacturing and Kentucky Apparel and loved going to yard sales, baking with all the kids and working on quilts. She was a daughter of the late Henry Randolph Scott and Evelyn Dean Norris Scott.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years: Lewis Stafford, Scottsville, KY;
2 daughters: Julie Harris and Jaime Turner and husband, Robbie, all of Scottsville, KY;
1 brother: Michael Scott, Glasgow, KY;
3 sisters-in-law: Connie Scott and Becky Scott, both of Cave City, KY and Barbara Brooking, Adolphus, KY;
1 brother-in-law: Ernie Stafford and wife, Amy, Scottsville, KY;
3 grandchildren who were her pride and joy: Caleb Turner, Casey Turner and Seth Harris;
Her fur baby: Bella and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by 4 brothers: Steve Scott, Henry E. Scott, Phil Scott and Teddy Ray Scott.
Funeral service will be 3:00 P.M. Thursday at Goad Funeral Home. Visitation will be after 10:00 A.M. until funeral time Thursday at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations for funeral expenses. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
