Hello Watson Family. Along with my 2 brothers and 1 sister I grew up in Crystal 3 houses away from you on Brunswick Avenue. Your mother Betty was always extremely good to us and treated us like gold. I remember both of your parents being very gracious people. Your backyard was a very popular place with all of the neighborhood kids, especially with the pool and A-frame playhouse. That wouldn't have been possible without your mom and dad being extremely tolerant and fond of all kids. One of my best childhood memories is of playing in your backyard. I also remember that Betty made very good chocolate chip cookies that she shared with us.

Hello,
I am a neighbor from Crystal. Betty was always a good sport about listening to Dina and I sing along with the Beatles!

Dear Watson Family ~
We first met Betty and Bob's daughter, Maren, while living in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and quickly realized the closeness of Maren's sisters and parents. We were once fortunate to spend a delightful evening entertaining Betty and Bob in our home, thoroughly enthralled with tales of their houseboating adventures.
While we rejoice with Maren and Dave in anticipation of the arrival of their children in April, we grieve with them not only for the loss of dear Betty, but also the passing of Dave's mom in December.
Many prayers are being offered up for comfort and solace to be bestowed upon Bob, his daughters and grandchildren during this time.

To the Watson Family,

I am someone from way back in your past. But, I remember your Mom very well from my childhood. She was always bigger than life to me. It's amazing how the memories come flooding back. I am so sorry for your loss and I pray for your family to find strength in each other and your friends.

Hi Rondi,
I don't know if you remember me, your old roommate, Robin Corton, now Bellamy. Katy Campbell told me about your huge loss. I am so sorry. I remember when you kindly invited me over to your home for Thanksgiving one year. Your mother and family were delightful. I am so sorry for you and your family. --Robin

Betty was a woman of incredible courage and spirit. She taught me a lot about how to live with dignity and grace. I will miss her.
