Betty Ann Cullop Widener, age 88, of Meadowview, VA, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2025 at Prattville, Alabama. She was born on November 4, 1937, to the late William Cullop and Eva Latham Cullop. She was of Baptist faith.

In addition to her parents, Betty was a preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Benny L. Widener; two sisters, Connie Watson and Shelby Harding; two brothers, Joe White and Jimmy Latham, step-father William White and grandson, Jarrod Lee Rasnake.

She is survived by four daughters: Barbara Rodefer and husband Charles; Brenda Kendrick and husband Craig; Betty Lee Deifenderfer and husband Mickey; and Beverly Cook and husband Mark. One brother Robbie "Buster" White and wife Delores; sister-in-law Barbara Lawson; grandchildren Travis Rodefer (Annette), Virginia Orfield (Mitchell), Adam Kendrick, Brett Kendrick (Kyla), Clinton Kendrick (Mackenzie), Matthew Rasnake (Sarah), Shannon Crawford (Jacob), Seth Cook (Shawna), Ethan Cook (Jamison); great-grandchildren, Austin, Joshua, Alexis, Kenzie, Noah, Bentley, Leila, Aiden, Avalynn, Naomi, Eva, Harley, Brooklynn, Aiden, Nicholas, and Parker and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, November 28, 2025 at Forest Hills Memory Gardens, 19415 Lee Highway, Abingdon, VA with Pastor Dan Birchfield and Glen McGlocklin officiating. Pallbearers will be Seth Cook, Bentley Kendrick, Ethan Cook and Matthew Rasnake.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 246, Abingdon, VA 24212.
