Betty Marie Wilkerson was born on January 13, 1943, and peacefully departed this life on September 18, 2024. She was a woman of strength and resolve, cherished by those who had the privilege to know her. Throughout her life, Betty embodied the qualities of a loving mother, devoted friend, and trusted confidant. Her nurturing spirit, combined with her all-encompassing love and wisdom, touched the hearts of many.
Betty's intelligence was matched only by her determination. She approached challenges with a fierce spirit and an unwavering commitment to her family and community. Her stern yet compassionate demeanor was an essential part of her character, guiding those around her towards strength and resilience.
A viewing will be held on September 25, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas, located at 4155 South R. L. Thornton Freeway, Dallas, TX 75224. Following the viewing, a funeral service will take place on September 26, 2024, at 11:00 AM at The Exciting Singing Hills Baptist Church, located at 6550 University Hills Boulevard, Dallas, TX 75241.
Betty leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will be remembered and cherished by all who knew her. May she rest in peace, as she is celebrated for the immense impact she made on the lives of those around her.
