Betty Ann Yonkers, 87, of McCook, Nebraska , passed away peacefully on July 11, 2025. Betty was born on November 5, 1937, in McDonald, Kansas, to Clarence and Florence (Thompson) Jussel. She graduated with the class of 1955 from Parks High School.

Betty and her three boys lived in McCook until 1969 when she married George Yonkers on December 20, 1969, they then lived in Hayes Center, Nebraska. After Geroge's retirement, he and Betty moved back to McCook in 2006. Betty was a homemaker but also worked as a waitress in her younger years. She enjoyed playing scrabble and cards with friends, traveling to visit family, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Betty is survived by her three sons, Richard (Kristi) of North Platte, Mark (Keeli) of Bridgeport, and Robert of Trenton; six grandchildren: Andrew (Lani), Marylee (Adam), Alex, Samantha, Levi, and Rachel (Nick); Betty also had nine great-grandchildren she adored: Jacob, Christopher, Camila, Hayden, Landon, William, Weston, David, and Leo; she is also survived by her younger sister, Delores (Richard) Stahly of Stratton.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George; brothers, Clarence, Keith, and Gene; sister, Dorothy; and infant great-granddaughter, Kinlee.

Services are scheduled for 10:30 AM on Friday morning, July 18, 2025 at Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chappel in McCook. A time for visitation and fellowship will be held prior to services, beginning at 9:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial in the Hayes Center Cemetery will follow services.

Memorials in Betty's name are suggested to your local Volunteer Fire Department. Online condolences may be left at herrmannfh.com. Arrangements have been entrusted to Herrmann-Jones Funeral Chapel of McCook.
