Betty L. Zimmerman

Betty L. Zimmerman, 83, went to be with the Lord and the love of her life on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at Heritage Park Health Care Center in Fort Wayne. Born in Cedarville, IN, Betty was the last survivor of eight children. After high school, she worked in several departments, the most recent being Human Resources, at International Harvester. After Harvester, she went to work for New York Life before returning to Harvester as a contractor to finish her career, retiring in 1995 after 50 years of service. She was a member of Crossview Church and the American Business Women Association. Surviving are her sons, Rick Zimmerman of Grabill and Kent Zimmerman of Cincinnati, OH; and 5 grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Edwin Zimmerman; parents, Fred and Bessie Kryder; and 7 siblings. Funeral Service is at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, June 30, 2015 at Crossview Church, 12532 Grabill Road with calling 1 hour prior. Rev. Brandon Risch officiating. Calling also at D.O. McComb and Sons Pine Valley Park Funeral Home, 1320 E. Dupont Rd., Monday, June 29, 2015, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Burial in Leo Memorial Cemetery, Leo, Indiana.
