Rancho Murieta, California - Bettye passed away peacefully in her sleep on 06/01/2025 at the age of 85 with family by her side. Bettye suffered from complications stemming from chronic back issues.

Bettye was born in 1939 in Cotton Plant, AR and a few years later the family relocated to Concord, CA.

In 1960 Bettye met and married Barry Wrigglesworth. In 1966 they moved to Wilton and raised their two children, Dale and Lori. During the time they were raising their children they also took in Bettye's niece, Vicky, after her father passed away. While living in the Wilton area for over 59 years, Bettye made many lifelong friends and was involved in various clubs and social activities.

Bettye was preceded in death by her Father, Mother and 2 sisters.

Bettye leaves behind her beloved husband of 65 years, Barry, her 2 children Dale Wrigglesworth and Lori Holmes, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held June 26, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at East Lawn Mortuary, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove, CA 95624 with reception immediately following at Evergreen Springs, 8290 Elk Grove Blvd., Elk Grove, CA 95758.

Private graveside services and final resting place for Bettye will be at Sutter Creek City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
