St. George, Utah – Our precious Mother, Beulah Killpack McArthur Belliston, returned to her Heavenly Father and the arms of her loving family on Sunday, November 15, 2025, at the Oasis Senior Center, surrounded by her children.
Beulah was born July 12, 1926, to Grover C. and Orlida Kirby Killpack. She was the 8th of 11 children and first to be born on the family farm in Huntington, Utah. While her sisters learned to cook and sew, Beulah worked out on the farm while her brothers were serving in the war. She drove tractor, herded cows and sheep, fed chickens, pigs and cows.
Beulah cleaned homes and between her junior and senior years worked at Valley Hospital in Tremonton. After she finished high school, she moved to Ogden and worked on Second Street.
She bowled on bowling teams with her sister Helen and that is where she met her sweetheart LaRaine McArthur. They were married in Ogden, November 30, 1945, where they raised their family. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple.
Beulah worked in women's retail, and for the longest time in Evelyn's Dress Shop. She absolutely loved dressing women in the latest fashion and made long time friendships working there.
Beulah and LaRaine spent years on bowling teams and then switched to golf when Red Hills Golf Course opened. Mom even got her one and only "hole in one," on a course in
Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
Beulah was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in the Sunday School, Primary, Young Women, and a calling she loved and felt most comfortable doing was Ward Librarian.
For many years she was active in Ladies of Elk, her Literary Arts Club, and not to forget, her walking group.
LaRaine and Beulah had many wonderful years together until he died suddenly from a heart attack in 1994. A few years later she was blessed with another very kind husband, Garth A. Belliston. They enjoyed travelling and golf. He passed away in 2014.
She is survived by her four children: Gayle (Dale) Brinkerhoff, Connie (Jeff) Morby, Robert (Kristen) McArthur, and Reed (Susie) McArthur. She has a thriving legacy of 16 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, and 7 great great-grandchildren. She is survived by Garth's children: Larry (Marge) Belliston, Von Belliston, Dean (Jerri) Belliston and Rita (Steve) Malhstede.
She is preceded in death by her husbands, one great grandchild, Mac Brinkerhoff, along with her parents, brothers, sisters and daughter in law, Sue Belliston.
A viewing will be held Friday, November 21, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Metcalf Bonzo Mortuary, 288 West St. George Blvd., St. George, Utah.
