KERNERSVILLE - Beulah Cameron Hathaway went to her Heavenly Home on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Beulah was born June 24, 1931, and was the daughter of the late Arch and Ethel Cameron. Beulah was Arch and Ethel's baby girl and everyone's favorite. She was also the favorite "Aunt Boobie" to all nineteen nieces and nephews.
Beulah married Fons Allen Hathaway in 1950. They both loved dogs and had many "pups" over their 62 years of marriage. They moved to Titusville, Florida in 1962 where Beulah began a new career at Cape Canaveral and was employed by BOEING until she retired after 30 years of service. In June of 2019, she returned to her beloved state of North Carolina and be closer to her family.
Before she married "FA," she loved to go to MOON's Danceland located in Madison, North Carolina. She loved to dance and whenever she heard dancing music, even while shopping, she would stop and shake a booty. For her 90th birthday, her wish was to celebrate in Nashville, and that is exactly what she did along with three of her nieces. Robert's Western World bar was her favorite, and she was the star as soon as she entered and danced as if she was a much younger lady! She loved all of the grands visiting and she especially loved it if they brought their pets. Her beloved Tom the Cat will miss her too. Her family and friends will cherish fun memories and lots of laughter with her.
A Celebration of Life service is scheduled for 11 a.m. Friday, October 3, 2025, in the Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service in High Point. Burial will follow at a later date in Titusville, FL.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions in Beulah's memory to Saint Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105 (or online www.stjude.org/donate).
