(nee Borchardt) Born on February 24, 1934 and went home to the Lord on February 18, 2025 at the age of 90. Beverley and Neal Ivan Edwards married in 1956. They resided in Bay View where their sons Bob and Pat were born and raised. In 1991 Neal left this life after a long illness at the age of 59. Loving mother to Pat (Jackie) Edwards and Bob (Patti) Edwards. Beloved grandmother to Emily (Dan) Fowell, Claire (Cory) Piepkorn, Kyle (Ange) Edwards, Aleta (Nick) Schilling, Parker (Taylor) and Halle (Zach) Edwards. Dear great-grandmother to Maeve, Nora, Oliver, Chase, Ainslee, Keston, Felicity and Solana.
Bev is the aunt to special nieces and nephews; Nancy Steltner, Bill and Carol Borchardt, Linda and Russ Miller, Roy and Paul Pesicek, Janet and the late Rex Rhoten, Kenneth and Brenda Ellsworth. She will be missed by her friends at White Oaks Senior Campus where she resided since 2004 and her Pulaski Pool friends since 1970 with whom many conversations ended in sharing recipes.
Neal, Bev and their sons enjoyed traveling via camper somewhere in the U.S or Canada every summer. They often toured eastern Europe as a couple, visiting friends in Germany as well. After Neal's passing Bev continued vacationing at home and foreign countries. She volunteered for short term mission treks to Europe. Bev began taking her grandchildren on road trips introducing them to the wonders of God's creation in the U.S.
Bev was a paraprofessional teaching assistant for MPS for 21 years. She earned her Associate degree going back to school at the age of 40. Her life continued to be full of joy serving the Lord with her musical gifts and her friends at White Oaks with her organizational strengths.
Visitation at Redeemer Church (7735 W Howard Ave, Milwaukee) on Monday, March 3 from 4 to 6 PM with funeral service at 6 PM. Interment Arlington Park Cemetery on Tuesday, March 4 at 11 AM.
