To the Pearson Family- I just received the notice of Beverley's passing. My junior year at HSHS I was a library aide and loved hanging out with Beverley.. She was so funny and LOVED her family which I can imagine only became greater over time with grandkids. What a great lady!! She will surely be missed by all!

My heart goes out to Mrs. Pearson's family. I was a student of Highland Springs High School for 4 years, and I was one of the crowds that would hang out in the library constantly. She touched our minds and our hearts with the spirit and passion of books. To hear of her passing makes me very saddened, but I know she is within the Creator's embrace right now. May her influence on me as a person and as an inspiration live on long into my old years. Bless you all.

To: Mrs. Pearson's Family:
When I recall my days as a Springer and having to visit the library, I think about about Mrs. Pearson.
Mrs. Pearson was the heart and soul of the HSHS library. She assisted us with research, overdue fines and missing books lol, internet problems, iBook problems, lunch passes, et cetera.
Mrs. Pearson was a blessing to Highland Springs High School and she will be missed.

My prayers are with you all. I was glad I got to spend a couple of days with Beverly even though it was at Memorial Regional last month. We were able to talk about all the good times at Seven Pines playing softball. Renee, I used to love catching for you. You were an awesome pitcher. Beverly was a lot of fun to be around, and had a beautiful smile. She holds a spot in my heart for giving me some of the best memories of my life. God will take care of her now. God Bless.

TO THE PEARSON'S FAMILY:
We were upset to find out that a special friend has gone to a better home. We rememer the times with the Sandston Allstars going to Fairfax and Steven's favorite phrase was "DOWNTOWN FAIRFAX" until we finally arrived there. Bev was waiting for everyone to get there so we could have a good time. Her time at HSHS was a pleasure to see her when I had to deal with Lil Tony, she would always say, "DON'T WORRY, I"LL WILL KEEP HIM STRAIGHT" and she did with her lovely smile. Tony was just talking about her and her family three weeks ago, while thinking about all the football and baseball times in Sandston. Beverly will be greatly miss. Our prayers are with you.

To The Pearson Family...Deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to all of you in the loss of your beloved wife, mother and grandmother. I met Beverly many years ago through my friend and her neighbor, Nancy Seay. During my short stay with Nancy, Beverly invited me to join her and other neighbors on evening walks around the school's field track. Our friendship was short lived, but my friend and I would speak of her often. I am saddened to learn of her passing.

Shara,
My heart and prayers go out to you, Renee, Stephen, and your dad. Your mom was a great friend to my family and myself for many years. Your long time friendship with Crystal is one of the reasons she was so fond of your mom, as we all were. I will hold dear our great softball memories and all the good times we had as we watched you girls grow up in softball. Your mom was so lucky after you kids grew up that she had her wonderful grandchildren to enjoy, whom she loved very much and they loved her. She was a very caring person to everyone she came in contact with and her smile will always be remembered. All of you need to hold onto your memories tightly as they will help get you through many, many hard days ahead. If any of you need anything, please let us know.
Thanks Beverley for being such a great friend - we will miss you!

Psalm 27:4-5
4 One thing I ask of the LORD,
this is what I seek:
that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life,
to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD
and to seek Him in His temple.
5 For in the day of trouble
He will keep me safe in His dwelling;
He will hide me in the shelter of His tabernacle and set me high upon a rock.
