Ms. Beverly Jean Alexander Konwinski, 78 of Mount Airy, passed away peacefully on Sunday December 28, 2025, at Chatham Nursing and Rehabilitation in Elkin, NC. She was born June 25, 1947, in Chicago, IL to the late Paul Alexander and Eleanor Veronica Dockery Bailey. Ms. Konwinski worked in banking for many years. Beverly loved her family, loved playing computer games, and watching musical movies. Left to cherish her memory are two daughters and sons-in-law, Anjie and Dustin Hodges, and Michele and John Bendzinski; six grandchildren, Haley Dickerson and fiancé Riley McCracken, Shane Bendzinski, Kendall Bendzinski, Justin Bendzinski and fiancé Emma Allen, Peter Bendzinski, and Keith Bendzinski; sister, Nancy Alexander; brother and sister-in-law, William and Brenda Allegier; cousin, Paula Jones; and her special fur babies, Pepper and Star. The family will receive visitors at the home of her daughter Anjie in Mt Airy on Thursday January 1st between 12pm-2pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Beverly’s name may be given to Chatham Nursing and Rehabilitation Activities Department. Moody Funeral Services in Mount Airy is serving the family.
