Beverly Backen Obituary
She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Olga Halverson; her husband, Donald; her son, Daryle; and her brothers and sisters, Gerri, Wendell, Mary, Roy and Patty.
She is survived by her son, David, and his wife Debra; grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michelle and Courtney; great-grandchildren, Fiona, Della, Noomi and Viggo; and her brother Donald.
Beverly enjoyed walking, yardwork and cooking. She fed countless kids as a cook for Bloomington Public Schools. But most of all, she loved socializing and talking with everyone.
Special thanks to Elysian Sr. Homes of Chanhassen for over four years of loving care.
A service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Washburn-McReavy Funeral Chapel, 2300 W. Old Shakopee Rd., Bloomington, 55431, with visitation beginning at 2:00 p.m.
Private Interment will take place at a later date.
