Beverly Stuart Bennett

Beverly Stuart Bennett, 88, of Dunnstable Twp. passed away Sunday, December
28, 2025 at Lock Haven Rehabilitation & Senior Living.
Born May 24, 1937 in Plainfield, New Jersey, she was the daughter of the late Jack
and Dorothy Reed. Beverly grew up in Fanwood, NJ and later moved to South
Plainfield, NJ, graduating from Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School in 1955.
She married Harry W. Bennett, Jr., who preceded her in death in 2021.
Her love for the beach, instilled in her from many childhood vacations there, led
her and her husband to owning and operating Harborside Motel in Beach Haven Gardens,
NJ from 1984 until 2020.
Beverly was a longtime member of The Beach Haven Township Chamber of
Commerce. She also volunteered her time to support fundraising efforts on behalf of
Deborah Heart & Lung Center.
She enjoyed traveling to Florida and loved a good lobster or seafood dinner.
Along with her husband, she was an avid New York Yankees' fan, often attending spring
training games with her friends in the winter months in Tampa.
Surviving is her son, Steve Bennett (Gloria Deparasis) of Dunnstable Twp.;
grandchildren, Ashley (Tyler) Koser of Lock Haven and Troy Bennett of Jersey
Shore; and great grandsons: Clayton, Austin and Trent Koser.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her
daughter, Cynthia Bennett and half-sister, Jackie McDede.
A viewing will be held on Friday, January 2, 2026 from 10AM until 11AM at Donald G.
Walker Funeral Home, Inc., 231 High St., Flemington, PA 17745. A funeral service
will follow. Private interment will be at Rest Haven Memorial Park, Lock Haven.
Memorial contributions in Beverly's name may be made to the Deborah Heart &
Lung Center through the funeral home.
