Beverly Bonasera Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Cremation Society of Minnesota (First Memorial Funeral Chapel)- Minneapolis on Mar. 12, 2026.
Beverly Ann Bonasera went home peacefully on March 6, 2026, in Eden Prairie, Minnesota at the age of 90. Beverly Michaelson was born to Lawrence and Fern Michaelson on February 25, 1936, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Bev was a loving and faithful wife to Lawrence for 67 years, and devoted mother to Sue (Rob) and Steve (DeLonda). Bev loved being grandmother to five granddaughters, six great-granddaughters, and two great-grandsons. She was a wonderful and loving matriarch.

Bev lived a life that was characterized by kindness and compassion, which led her to be the Admissions Coordinator at a nursing home until she retired. She was deeply appreciated by all of the families that she helped over the years.

As an only child, Bev enjoyed growing up with her many cousins, who considered her one of their sisters. She spent many summers with them at the cabin on Lobster Lake, where lifelong memories were made. Bev enjoyed camping, fishing, and traveling with her family. Most importantly, Bev was a woman of profound faith in God. She lived out her faith every day by showing the love of Jesus to others. Whether it was volunteering at her church's homeless shelter or giving out clothes to those in need, Bev never stopped caring for others.

She was beloved by those who cared for her in her final days, as they also saw the light inside of her. Many who knew Bev considered her a best friend, and the kindest person they knew. The world was a better place because of her.

A memorial service will take place later this spring, and details will follow.
