Beverly Ann Burnett, 51, passed away on December 4, 2025. She was born on January 18, 1973, in Silsbee, Texas, grew up in Saratoga, Texas and later made a life filled with love and laughter.
Beverly was renowned for her remarkable personality—funny, hilarious, and witty—but above all, she was a loving and caring mother and grandmother, affectionately known as "Gigi" to her adored grandchildren. Her generous spirit was evident in the way she would give her shirt to anyone in need. Beverly had an innate ability to find warmth in others, always showering them with kindness, though it is well noted she couldn’t stay mad at you for long—unless you truly pushed her buttons.
Throughout her life, Beverly enjoyed many interests and hobbies that brought her joy. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, who undoubtedly were the bright lights in her life. Her passions included riding horses, fishing, building a fire, and enjoying days at the beach. Beverly particularly cherished the moments at The Honky Tonk’s with Brenda. A true lover of children, she embraced not only her grandchildren but also everyone’s kids, offering her heart to all. Not to be forgotten was her loyal dog, Rooster, brought additional warmth to her home.
Beverly's unique way of showing love included a keen eye for finding four-leaf clovers, which she would give to others, symbolizing the luck and affection she wished to bestow upon them. She had a delightful arrangement of talents, including her ability to draw hogs anywhere, creating smiles wherever she went. Known for her culinary prowess, she made the best burnt corn and apple pie, which were loved by friends and family alike.
She dedicated much of her life caring for her father, EC "Dump" Hart, after the passing of her mother, Willie Mae Hart. Beverly’s strength was a testament to her love and commitment to her family.
She is survived by her husband, Steven Burnett; her daughters, Dovie Cheyenne Burnett, Hannah Shawnee Fillingame, and her husband Jasper Doyle; her cherished grandchildren, Amelia Kay, Alice MayAnn, and JJ Fillingame. Beverly is also survived by her father, EC "Dump" Hart; her sisters, Bunny Haas, and her husband Thomas, SueSue Smart, Cindy Davis and her husband Curtis, and Tiffany Martin; her brother, Artie Hart and his wife Betty; and numerous nieces and nephews who will forever remember her infectious spirit.
Beverly was preceded in death by her mother, Willie Mae Hart, her brother, Clayton Hart, and her nephew Dustin Hart.
Serving as pallbearers are Jasper Fillingame, Thomas Haas, Lucas Lowe, Josh Bowman, Joseph Rayon, Melvin Portillo, Jacob Guidry, and Shannon Palmer.
Visitation will take place on Saturday, December 13, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Faith & Family Funeral Services in Batson, Texas, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM, officiated by Pastor Tolbert Hudspeth. Interment to follow at Jackson Settlement in Saratoga, Texas.
In the hearts of those who knew her, Beverly will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered for her vivacity, generosity, and the warmth of her love that touched so many lives. May she rest in eternal peace.
