Beverly Jean Chadbourne

Beverly J. Chadbourne, 59, Detroit Lakes, MN, died Monday, December 26, 2011 at Sanford Health in Fargo, ND. Funeral services will be 11:00 AM Friday, December 30 at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, rural Audubon, MN, Reverend Paul Peterson, officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Cemetery, Detroit Lakes, MN. Friends may call 5:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at David-Donehower Funeral Home in Detroit Lakes and at the church 1 hour prior to the service on Friday. Beverly Jean Chadbourne was born October 18, 1952 in Detroit Lakes, MN to Raymond and Virginia (Brogren) Fagerlie. She was raised in rural Audubon, MN and is a 1970 graduate of Audubon High School. Following her graduation, she attended the Moorhead technical college where she was enrolled in the fashion merchandising program. She was crowned snowball Queen her 2nd year at the college. She worked for Western Gear Company in Jamestown, ND 1976 – 1978. Bev returned to Detroit Lakes where she worked in the Medical Records Department at Dakota Clinic 1978 – 1992. Bev was united in marriage to Dean Chadbourne August 25, 1984 in Detroit Lakes. They made their home near Pearl Lake until moving to their present home in 2003. Bev enjoyed sewing, gardening, volleyball and snowmobiling. Survivors include her husband, Dean of Detroit Lakes, a son: Sean of Fargo, ND, a grandson: Kayden Chadbourne, four sisters: Sandra Fagerlie of Detroit Lakes, Debra (Bob) Buth of Moorhead, MN, Bonnie (Pete) Lage of Detroit Lakes, Brenda Fagerlie of Henderson, NV; four brothers: David of Audubon, Wayne (Linda) of Detroit Lakes, Douglas (Gloria) of Detroit Lakes and Dana (Julie) of Detroit Lakes. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister: Sharon.
