Beverly Jane Cottle (Roberts), age 79, passed away peacefully on November 4, 2025, in Tellico Village, Tennessee.
Born on March 1, 1946, in Memphis, Tennessee, Beverly brought joy and warmth into the world from the very beginning. She was the beloved daughter of Earl and Eleanor Roberts and grew up alongside her older sibling, Frances Boruff and younger siblings, Sammy Roberts and Mary Short. Her early years in Memphis laid the foundation for a life filled with laughter, generosity, and adventure.
Beverly met and married the love of her life, Mike Cottle. Together they built a beautiful life rooted in love and shared experiences. Their bond was strong and enduring until Mike's passing. Those who knew Beverly often spoke of her radiant smile-one that could light up any room-and her infectious sense of humor that brought joy to countless lives.
A spirited traveler, Beverly had a deep appreciation for exploring the world. She was fortunate to visit many places across the globe, embracing new cultures and experiences with enthusiasm and wonder. Her generous heart and welcoming nature made everyone feel at home in her presence. Whether hosting family gatherings or meeting someone new, Beverly extended kindness with ease.
She is survived by her loving brother Sammy Roberts (Sherry) of Slidell, LA, and sister Mary Short (Tom) of Vonore, TN, as well as many cherished nephews, nieces, and cousins who will carry forward her memory with affection. Beverly was preceded in death by her devoted husband Mike Cottle, her parents Earl and Eleanor Roberts and sister Frances Boruff.
In honor of Beverly's compassionate spirit, the family kindly requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
May Beverly's memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
