Beverly (Coster) D'Amore

Beverly Ann D'Amore passed away peacefully on May 12, 2017 in her home in South Lake Tahoe, CA. Beverly was born September 16, 1939 in Dearborn MI, the daughter of Edgar and Marie (Gondek) Coster. Beverly thoroughly enjoyed knitting, reading, visiting the casinos, baking cookies for neighbors at Christmas, and attending San Francisco Giants baseball games with her daughters Kathleen and Toni Marie, and her family always appreciated her delicious cooking. Beverly attended Catholic schools in Dearborn and was a graduate of St. Alphonsus High School. She was a faithful communicant of St. Theresa Catholic Church in South Lake Tahoe. In 1961, Beverly married the love of her life Anthony Eugene D'Amore, and they lived in Dearborn, MI before moving to Westminster, CA where they raised their four children. Beverly was a working mother who was employed by Security Pacific Bank for many years. Beverly's family was the center of her life, and she relished family gatherings and events. Beverly is survived by her adoring husband Anthony; her children Eugene and his wife Michelle of Belchertown, MA; daughter Maria and her husband Rick Whitaker and Beverly's beloved grandchildren Mattole and Scout Whitaker, all of Clovis, CA; Kathleen of San Francisco, CA; Toni Marie and her husband John Mockus of Pacifica, CA; numerous nieces and nephews, and several other dear relatives and friends. She will be remembered as a loving, thoughtful, tenacious, and incredibly generous woman and her laugh will never be forgotten by those who loved her. Services will be held at St. Theresa's Catholic Church 1041 Lyons Ave, South Lake Tahoe, CA on May 26, 2017 at 10:00 am.
