Beverly A. Datisman

We are saddened to share Beverly A. Datisman, 76, died peacefully the morning of October 22, 2023, in Houston, TX. She was born May 9, 1947, in Dubuque, IA. She also resided in Sherrill and Eldridge, IA.
Bev is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Roger Datisman of Eldridge, IA, their daughters: Kimberly Datisman (Mark Pietig) of Davenport, IA, and Kerri (Jason) Roling of Houston, TX. She was a devoted grandmother to Spencer and Elliette Roling; Bev leaves behind five siblings: Eugene (Donna) Hingtgen, Linda (Tom) Deves, Rick (Diane) Hingtgen, Ron Hingtgen, Mary Moldenhauer (Tommy Richmond); and many nieces and nephews. Bev was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Mary Hingtgen.
Bev led a busy and fulfilling life. She loved golfing, walking on the beach, crocheting, caring for her plants and playing Pickleball. Bev enjoyed travelling extensively with her husband to visit family and friends. Bev retired from John Deere in 2002, where she was a Manager of Customer Satisfaction in the Construction & Forestry Division. Throughout her life, Bev taught Sunday School and participated in many church functions and committees. Most recently she was a member of the First Congregational Church in Dewitt, IA. Bev was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to all. We are comforted knowing she is now at peace. Our family is grateful for your support and condolences during this difficult time. A special thank you to Kerri Roling who devoted herself to caring for her Mom during the challenging final years. I was saddened to learn of Bev's passing. We were co-workers at John Deere Inventory Audit during the late 70's. She was such a sweet person with a great sense of humor. My most sincere condolences to your family during this difficult time.
