Beverly E. Yarnes Mariani Evanson died on January 29, 2025 and is now with the Lord.
She was predeceased by her parents, George E. Yarnes and Lena Koenig Yarnes, her husbands Michael D. Mariani and Robert M. Evanson and son David J. Mariani.
She is survived by son Michael N. Mariani (Salve) of Newark Valley, NY, daughter Suzanne M. Lachman (Everett-deceased) of Newark Valley, NY, and son Andrew Scott Mariani (Bonnie) of Endicott, NY, four grandchildren- Danielle Conti of North Carolina, Nicole Mariani-Seidel (Brandon) of Binghamton, NY, Scott M. Mariani (Florida), and Mayae C. Lachman of Vestal, NY, one brother George E. Yarnes of Whitney Point, NY, two great grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Beverly graduated from Binghamton High School, Broome Community College and Binghamton University where she majored in English Literature. She had attended Lyceum classes at BU and was a member of St. Cashmir's Church where she was a Lector and Eucharistic Minister. She was an avid reader and writer and published poetry. Her everlasting love and dedication to her family was her proudest accomplishment.
A service celebrating her life will be held at 12:00 noon on Friday February 7, 2025, at the MacPherson Funeral Home, 5 Whig Street, Newark Valley, NY. A period of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memories and condolences can be shared in her online guestbook at www.macphersonfh.com.
