Aunt Beverly,
You were my mothers best friend, she still misses you terribly every day, sometimes to the point of where it's painful. I miss you too Aunt Bev.
Thank you for being there for my mother throughout many many years of what could only be called an enduring, beautiful, true friendship that made me so happy to know existed. You were her shoulder to cry on and truly the epitome of what a best friend should be. She treasured you as her sister, her confidant, and you were a guidance to her throughout some of her most difficult moments in life.
I remember the good old days and the parties you 'adults' would have at the trailer. The parental's playing cards and having bonfires... I remember so many good times with Michelle, Missy and Mickey... Like the time I flipped the go-cart and Joe Jordan saw it from across the road, came over, turned the go-cart upside-down, dumped out all the gas out, then within minutes, Mickey siphoned gas out of the car and we went right back to having fun! I remember... my sister throwing Michelle off that same go-cart, giving her a concussion and Missy "baby-sitting" my brother and I, keeping us busy by playing games. I look back on those days with great fondness. Oh and the music, AC/DC, LED Zep, Lynyrd etc. was the best in existence. The same tunes you guys rocked out to are now my tunes. Those were great days.
You are greatly missed and were a shining presence that lit up every room you entered. You made many people smile and laugh with your clever humorous ways. Your won't stop attitude was a gift and strength that very few people possess, if you saw any one fall, you would pick them up, dust them off and get them going again without hesitation. You were truly a treasure. The world was a better place with you in it.
Thank you for being there in my formidable years and being a positive influence on me and someone I looked up to.
