Beverly Kaye Larsen Gabbitas of Springville passed away peacefully on July 18, 2024, of natural causes. Beverly was born May 26, 1944, to Norma Veniece Berensen and Lynn Bowden Larsen. She was raised in Spanish Fork Utah with her parents and 4 siblings. (Lynette Turpin (deceased) Kenneth Larsen (deceased) Sharlene Martin (deceased) and Patricia Wilson). She married her sweetheart Michael Robert Gabbitas August 9, 1962, in the Logan LDS Temple. Together they raised four children. Michael “Rob”ert, Abby Lynn, Heather Elizabeth and Kami Michelle. She was the beloved grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Michael a son Darren and daughter Heather Tilton. Also, her parents Lynn Larsen and Norma Larsen. 

Beverly graduated from Spanish Fork High School. Early on she developed a love for the nursing field and pursued a career as a Nurse. She had a heart of gold and enjoyed helping others. For many years she worked in the Emergency room at Mountain View Hospital. After years of being an LPN she decided to further her education and attended Weber State where she graduated with her RN associate's degree. She then continued her nursing journey and worked for the Center for Change helping women who struggled with eating disorders. Beverly finished up her career at the Utah State Hospital in the Forensic unit up until her retirement in 2004. 

She was an active member of the LDS church and loved attending the nearby temples. Beverly was a go-getter and loved to have a good time. She loved to crank up the music and take off in her car with the windows down and sunroof open. She loved to play golf and could always be seen out on the golf course. She played on local golf teams and made many beloved friends. She also loved spending time with her 3 sisters, whom she was very close to. Every Saturday, they would go out to lunch and spend the day shopping. She also loved to travel and enjoyed several weeks out in Europe. She was family oriented and spent time camping and trips to Lake Powel with her family. Every Sunday she would make delicious dinners for all her children and their families. She will always be remembered for her delicious bread sticks and Valentine's sugar cookies. 

Beverly is survived by her sister Patricia “Trish” Wilson. Her son Mike “Rob” (Cindy) Gabbitas and daughters Abby (Brad) Gardner and Kami Curtis. 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. 

A viewing for friends and family will be held on July 25, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Wheeler Mortuary located at 211 East 200 South in Springville, and Friday morning a graveside service at 10 a.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery 1997 S 400 East in Springville.
