Beverly Eleanor Gribbin

GRIBBIN---Mrs. Beverly Eleanor Gribbin, 84, of Orange Park, Florida, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 5, 2026, in her home with her loving husband by her side. She was born in Spring Run (Weedville), Pennsylvania on October 25, 1941. Beverly was a proud graduate of Clarion University in Clarion, Pennsylvania, where she earned her Bachelors degree in Elementary Education.

She worked as an elementary school teacher off and on for years and then continued her love of working with children by working at the Orange Park Library as the Children's librarian. She was a devoted Navy wife to her husband, Edward for 60 years where they moved the family from Pennsylvania to California and Tennessee, back to Pennsylvania, to Maryland then ended up settling in Orange Park, FL in 1987. She was a hardworking and devoted matriarch who dedicated her life to taking care of her family and will be dearly missed.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents William L.and Mildred A. Cassels and younger brother, Ronald Theodore Cassels, all three of Ridgway, PA. She is survived by her husband Edward H. Gribbin, brother Gerald Cassels, sons William and Stephen, daughter Alisha Shealey, son-in-law Kenji Shealey, and grandsons Benjamin, Zachary and Nathan.

Beverly's Graveside Funeral service was held on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Jacksonville National Cemetery at 4083 Lannie Rd Jacksonville, FL 32218 at 11:00 A.M.

In Lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made in Beverly's name to Advent Lutheran Church of Orange Park, FL.
