Beverly Lynn Harwell

Beverly Lynn Washam Harwell, 74, of Denver, NC, formerly of Cornelius died January 17, 2025. She was born in Iredell County on March 31, 1950 to the late Joseph and Pauline Washam.
Beverly was a compassionate and joyful person with a very warm heart. She dedicated her life to caring for others. She touched many lives as an operating room nurse for 30 years. She enjoyed time at the beach, making a yummy meal, cuddling with her cats, lunches with her friends, shopping, and spending time with her children and spoiling her grandgirls. Beverly was the best listener and loved telling stories and chatting with others.
Survivors include her son, Joseph Russell "Russ" Harwell and wife Amy of Huntersville; daughter, Allison "Nikki" Nicole Stewart and husband Donald of Denver; brother, Roy Washam and his wife Betsy; sister in law, Ramona Washam; grandchildren, Abigail Hege, Ally Stewart, Madison Harwell and Kayley Harwell. She is preceded in death by her husband Randy Harwell and siblings, Steve Washam and Robert "Bob" Washam.
Memorials may be made to your local humane society.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Sunday, January 26 at James Funeral Home with visitation to follow.
