Beverly Henkins Obituary
Jacksonville, IL - Beverly Ann Henkins, 75, of Jacksonville passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital. She was born on August 23, 1946, in Jacksonville the daughter of Harry John and Elsie Lucille Sonneborn Richard. She married Delbert Lackscheide on October 27, 1965, and they later divorced. She later married Charles Everett Henkins on June 2, 2003, and he preceded her in death.
Beverly is survived by one sister, Nancy C. Howard of Bloomington. She is also survived by one granddaughter, Jennifer Taylor of St. Joseph, MO and two Great Grandchildren Heavenly and Addison Taylor, both of St. Joseph, MO and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Beverly was preceded in death by, her, son John W. Lackscheide.
Beverly worked at various home health care agencies throughout her life. She also worked as a teacher's aide with the Jacksonville Public School District and as a greeter at the Jacksonville Wal-Mart. She was very active with Camp Courage in Jacksonville and was a member of Faith Lutheran Church.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 15, 2021, at 2:00 pm at Williamson Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Diamond Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Camp Courage of Jacksonville. Online condolences may be left online at www.airmsan-hires.com

My sympathy to the family and friends. I visited with Bev many times as a member of the same church. Bev always spoke lovingly about her family. She was concerned about everyone. I remember how much joy she got from the great grandchildren. She spoke of them often with so much pride and love.
