Naugatuck - Beverly (Nickerson) LaRowe , 84, passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, at Shady Knoll Health Center. She was the wife of the late Charles LaRowe, who passed away in 1990.
Beverly was born June 21, 1941, in Danbury, the daughter of the late Michael and Stella (Vivieros) Scalzo. She was raised in Danbury and was a longtime resident of Naugatuck, where she worked at Peter Paul Cadbury. She enjoyed walking and line dancing, winning several awards.
She is survived by her five children, Donna Lee (late husband, Butch), Charles LaRowe (his wife, Cindy), Raymond LaRowe, Debra Morain (her husband, Frank) and Dawn Zavednak (her husband, Richard); as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and her sister, Renee, and her husband, Ronald. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was predeceased by her three sisters.
Arrangements – Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 2 to 4 pm at the Buckmiller Ford Mengacci Funeral Home, 82 Fairview Ave., Naugatuck. A private family graveside service will be held at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Memorial contributions may be made to Dementia Society of America, 188 N Main St., Doylestown, PA 18901.
