Beverly Ann Lindley's Story
1961 - 2025
Age 64
Beverly Ann Lindley, 64, passed away on December 17, 2025, in Orlando, Florida. Born on September 26, 1961, in Wilmington, Delaware, Beverly lived a life marked by resilience, warmth, and an unwavering love for her family and friends.
Beverly dedicated over three decades of service to the U.S. Postal Service, where she built a respected and fulfilling career before retiring. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her devotion to those around her—she was known for her generous spirit and infectious sense of humor that could light up any room.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Darrel Lindley; her parents Jerry McNeal Sr. and Mildred McNeal; her grandmother Florrie McNeal; and her nephew Anthony Scarbro. Their memories remained close to Beverly’s heart throughout her life.
She is lovingly remembered by her siblings Sharon (Dickie) Shepherd, Buddy (Bonnie) McNeal, and Florrie (Dennis) Lundy; her aunt Eleanor (Gene) Campbell; uncle Tom (Gerri) McNeal; as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews who cherished their time with “Bev.” Her extended family was a source of great joy to her, and she took pride in staying connected with each generation.
Beverly had a zest for life that was evident in everything she did. A passionate sports fan, she cheered faithfully for the Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies and followed NASCAR with enthusiasm. She also found joy in the simple pleasures of life—especially gathering with friends at weekly BINGO draws where laughter and camaraderie were always guaranteed.
Her love extended beyond people to animals as well. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the SPCA in honor of Beverly’s deep affection for pets.
Beverly faced life’s challenges with courage and grace. She overcame a difficult battle with cancer—a testament to her strength and determination. Through it all, she remained a beacon of positivity. Known as the life of the party, Beverly had an unmatched ability to bring people together through laughter and fun.
Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May Beverly Ann Lindley’s legacy of kindness, humor, and resilience continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in her journey.
A Visitation will be held on December 27, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 03:00 PM at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals, and Receptions 895 South Goldenrod Rd.
