Beverly Ann Lopa

Beverly Ann Lopa, 89, of Simpsonville SC, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Born in Sanborn NY, she was the daughter of the late George Emerson and Evelyn Sornberger.

She was predeceased by her loving Husband Donald J. Lopa of 66 years where they shared their life in Rochester NY, daughter, Susan Grace Lopa-Smith; grandson, Matthew Barone; and great granddaughter, Autumn Lopa.

Beverly is survived by two children, Jay Lopa (Susan) and Ann Barone (Joe); eight grandchildren, Jennifer Barone, Nicole Hofstra (Justin), Ashley Sylvester (Terry), Jason Lopa, Jeffrey Lopa (Rene), Leah Barone, Grace Smith, and Donald Smith; eight great grandchildren, Hanna Hofstra, Jude Ramos, Miloh Ramos, Zenovia Sylvester, Easton Lopa, Giulianna Lopa, Everleigh Lopa, and Wyatt Smith; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Beverly spent the last 2 and a half years of her life on earth with her loving Daughter Ann, Son in Law Joe, Granddaughter Leah and 4 dogs who she absolutely adored, and where she thrived. For the past 6 months, she had a wonderful caregiver, Timeryl "Sammy," who she referred to as her best friend.
