Beverly A. Madewell, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025, in Dayton, Ohio. She was born on June 21, 1949, in Franklin, Ohio, to the late Robert Cox and Norma Whitecamper.

Beverly was a dedicated Sunday school teacher for approximately 20 years, sharing her love for learning and faith with countless children. She was known for her silly sense of humor and her ability to connect with younger generations, showing patience and kindness that made her a beloved figure among her students and family alike. Throughout her life, Beverly demonstrated an unwavering commitment to her family, playing a significant role in caring for her siblings during their upbringing and continuing to support them throughout her life.

A hard worker, Beverly particularly treasured the time spent with her grandchildren, engaging in activities that brought joy to both them and herself. She was not only a source of strength for her family but also a beacon of love and warmth that radiated from her spirit.

Beverly leaves behind her devoted husband of 50 years, Kenneth Madewell; her two sons, Kevin (Vicki) Madewell and Kelly (Christa) Madewell; her step-son, Scott Madewell; her grandchildren, Scarlett, Kaleb, Kenneth, and Maddison; and her great-grandson, Jaxson. Additionally, she is remembered fondly by her siblings, Bruce, Melody, Ruth, John, Tim, Bob, Dewey, Jean, Katherine, Debbie, and Carl, along with numerous nieces and nephews who were touched by her generosity and warmth.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings, Millard, Roseanne, and Dee, who will surely welcome her with open arms.

The family will receive friends on Friday, May 30, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Newcomer North Chapel, 4104 Needmore Rd, Dayton, OH 45424. Followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM. Beverly will be laid to rest at Willow View Cemetery.

Beverly’s legacy of love, care, and connection will endure in the hearts of those she leaves behind, reminding us all of the profound impact one individual can have on their family and community. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
