Beverly Joyce Maggard

Beverly Joyce Maggard, age 64, of Taylor, Michigan, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025. Born in Erin, Tennessee, to Bruce Musser and Sonja Stone, Beverly grew up primarily in the South End of Dearborn, Michigan.
On April 10, 1977, she married Ronnie Maggard, and together they had two children, Lisa and Ronnie Jr. Beverly took her role as a mother very seriously, protecting and nurturing her children with unwavering love and devotion while raising them in Detroit. She instilled in them the values of kindness, empathy, and moral integrity that defined her life.
Beverly was inherently a good person, with a strong moral compass that guided her every action. She was deeply passionate about music, a long time fan of Bob Dylan and Van Morrison, and enjoyed learning, especially about ancient world history. Beverly had a compassionate heart and supported causes that championed justice for those who were mistreated and oppressed.
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Lisa Dundas of Jackson, MI; son, Ronnie Maggard Jr. (Jessica) of Lincoln Park, MI; three grandsons, Ryan Walker of Naperville, IL, Ronnie Maggard III, and Gavin Maggard of Lincoln Park, MI; three sisters, Melinda Blackburn of Lincoln Park, MI, Kimberly Malone (George) of Monroe, MI, Lisa Pustelnik of Dearborn Heights, MI, and her best friend, Rick Ross of Las Vegas, NV. She was preceded in death by both of her parents and her ex-husband Ronnie Maggard.
Her family, friends, and all who knew her will remember her as kind, loving, and very passionate about the things that mattered most to her. Beverly will be deeply missed, always loved, and never forgotten for the beautiful person she was.
A private memorial service will be held by family per Beverly's wishes.
