Beverly Louise Harris Minix age 81 of Coal Branch Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Monday, August 11, 2025 at her home. She was born July 05, 1944 in English Lake, Indiana to the late Leonard and Flora Mae Button Harris. Survived by one son, Earnest James "E.J." (Lisa) Minix of Salyersville, Kentucky, four daughters, Vickie (Jeff) Hall of Lakeland, Florida, Lessie Mae Minix, Stephanie (Scottie) Prater both of Salyersville, Kentucky, Rosemary Dawn (Shane) Boyd of Paintsville, Kentucky, one sister, Marla Clevenger of Florida, nine grandchildren, Elizabeth Ponce, Taylor Hall, Kennelya Prater, Kenny James Minix, Bryce Minix, D.J. Minix, Brycen Boyd, Chase Boyd, Brooke Cole, six great grandchildren, Logan Ponce, Loriana Ponce, Juliana Minix, Noah Minix, Ryder Minix, and James Benish. In addition to her parents, Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, Earnest James "Red" Minix, one son, Kenny Ray Minix, two brothers, Ronald Harris, Carl Harris, four sisters, Patricia Harris, Carol Harris, Norma Harris, and Shirley Harris. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, August 15, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Dennis Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the Lessie Minix and Warnie Bailey Cemetery at Bee Tree, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Thursday, August 14, 2025 from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
