Beverly Newell Obituary
Beverly Cora Newell, age 78, of Bridgeport, passed away January 21, 2022 at St. Vincent's Medical Center. Beverly was born in Bridgeport, CT to the late Carelton B. and Elizabeth Newell Sr.
She was a secretary for Sikorsky Aircraft for many years. Beverly was a member of the Sikorsky Rifle Club and enjoyed fencing and riding horses.
During her retirement, she was an artist and oil painter who gifted much of her artwork to friends, family and her local parish.
Beverly was a member of the Wampanoag Tribe of Cape Sable Island Nova Scotia Canada, where her father was born and raised.
She was predeceased by her brother Carelton B. Newell Jr. and her sister Doris Tkacs. Survivors include her brother Robert Newell and his wife Terry of Shelton, CT, her sisters Karen Pavlinski and her husband Robert of Lakehills TX and Eva Newell of Beacon Falls, CT and several nieces and nephews.
Friends and family are invited to attend her funeral services on Wednesday at 11:00 at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Rd. Trumbull, CT. Interment in Park Cemetery.
