November 6th, 1934 - February 25th, 2024
Beverly Sue Johnson Ozmun, mother to Tony Ray Ozmun, passed away on Sunday February 25, 2024 after a longtimebattle with dementia. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home in
Tulsa, Oklahoma, surrounded by family and close friends.
She was known for her compassionate, sharing and giving personality along with her passion for collecting rocks, minerals, far eastern art and pottery. Beverly was a contributing cofounder of Globe X-Ray Services on April 31, 1972. Globe X-Ray Services is a company that has over fifty years in business. The other cofounder was her husband Roland Vincent "RV" Ozmun. "RV" passed in 1989. Both were avid boaters on Keystone Lake and had originally met on "RV's" fathers' boat on Lake Fort Gibson.
Beverly will be missed by all who know her. Beverly's family asks that she be remembered for the joy and fun that she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing. Beverly is preceded in death by her husband Roland Vincent Ozmun, her mother Clem Marie Stephens Johnson, father Claude Nathan Johnson, brothers Dale, Jack and Bob Johnson, sisters Margaret Jean Spurlock, and Carol Marie Schott. She is survived by her son Tony Ozmun (wife Kay), sisters, Patricia Ann Munson of Florida and Linda Gayle Stiles (husband Paul) of Kansas. Grandchildren Ashley John Allen (wife Brooke), Amy Michele Carrera (husband Carlos), great grandchildren Nieava Rain Carrera and Aiden Dean Carrera. Beverly also has more than 27 nieces and nephews.
Services will be held March 23, 2024 at 2:00 pm at The Good Shepherd Lutheran Church located at 8730 East 4th Pl. Skelly Drive Tulsa Oklahoma with a Celebration of Life following at her home.
