Beverly Ann Parr, 95, of Wellsville, passed away on November 30, 2025, with her loving daughter by her side. She was born July 29, 1930, in Linwood, Kansas to parents Jesse and Myrtle Pritchard. She was the devoted wife of the late Raymond Parr and the loving mother of Rayma, Kelly, Terry, and David.
Beverly was an independent woman and was known for her unwavering strength, persistence, and determination. She had unconquerable drive that was a source of inspiration for those around her. There were very few things she wouldn’t or couldn’t do including taking care of the farm, painting her house, or providing awesome meals for her family. She could rearrange any room in a matter of minutes by herself! As a loving and devoted mother and grandmother, she took pride in her children, and grandchildren, always there to provide a listening ear, instruction, and assisting them in any challenge they might encounter. She instilled in them the importance of family, hard work, and doing the right thing.
She found joy in simple things, like doing puzzles, reading a good book, watching her front yard wildlife friends, and taking in an occasional fishing trip with her loving husband Ray. She loved the outdoors, fresh air, the wildlife and took long walks around her farm always checking on her pond and animals.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, and her parents. She is survived by her four children, ten grandchildren, and twenty great grandchildren.
A private, family only, Celebration of Life will be held on December 19, 2025, at 10:00 A.M. at Dengel & Son Mortuary located at 305 N Pearl Street, Paola, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that be made to Alzheimer’s Foundation of America (AFA).
