Beverly L. Pressler

Beverly L. Pressler, 91, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully Monday, June 2, 2025 in Cleveland surrounded by her family, after a brief illness. She was born February 12, 1934 in Sandusky, the only child of the late John R. and Bertha (Brownell) Holdren.
She was a 1951 graduate of Sandusky High School and a life-long resident of Erie County. She was employed in the Erie County Treasurer's Office for twenty-eight years. She was elected and served as the Erie County Treasurer from 1986-2001. She was a member of the Erie County chapter of Democratic Women and St. Mary's Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading and was very artistic.
Beverly is survived by her four children, Kathleen (Robert) Schenk, Lynn (Gerald) Pressler and Lori Kuns all of Sandusky, and John (Lisa) Pressler of Northville, Michigan; six grandchildren, Jennifer (Adam) Ramsdell, Adam (Jennafer) Kuns, Jordan (Ashley) Kuns, Kassidy (Matthew) Davidson, Lauren (Kevin Mulach) Pressler, and Nathan Pressler; 4 great-grandchildren, Mallory Ramsdell, Sydney Ramsdell, Lindsey Kuns and Gunner Kuns. Also her special friend, George Fischer.
In addition to her parents, Beverly is preceded in death by her husband, Richard Pressler in 2009; and grandson, Justin Pressler in 2022.
Private family services will be held and conducted at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave. Sandusky with Deacon Jeff Claar officiating. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky, OH.
