Beverly A. Radtke

Beverly “Bev” A. Radtke, age 87, of Forest Lake, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2025. Born on January 16, 1938, in Forest Lake, she was the beloved daughter of Granville and Margaret (Batterson) Schmidt.

Bev was known for her love of cooking, baking, crocheting, and delighting in the birds that visited her yard. She cherished the weekly time spent with her sister Carol, and her greatest joy was being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bev shared 65 beautiful years of marriage with her husband, Alfred "Al", who preceded her in death in 2022. She often spoke of her deep love for him and the precious years they spent together.

Bev is also preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Margaret; and her sisters, Debbie Schmit and Bonnie Hutchinson.

She is lovingly remembered by her sons, Bob (Becky) Radtke and John Radtke; grandchildren, Michelle (Cory) Leibel, Angie (Shawn) Weber, Brooke (Conrad) Radtke, and Cory Radtke; six great-grandchildren; and her siblings, Carol (Joe) Thill, Marlene Raitor, and Bob (Judy) Schmidt.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2025 at Faith Lutheran Church, 886 North Shore Drive, Forest Lake. The family will greet friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will follow at the Faith Lutheran Memorial Prayer Garden.

Bev’s love, kindness, and devotion to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
