Beverly Jeanne “Rice” Mazzeo, age 63, of Ocala, Florida, passed away on February 22, 2026. She was born on October 24, 1962, in Winchester, Massachusetts, the daughter of Lawrence and Shirley Rice.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Debra Stoafer.
Beverly leaves behind her loving siblings: her brother David Rice and his wife Melissa, her sister Linda Williams, and her brother Michael Rice and his wife Peggy. She was a devoted and beloved aunt to 11 nieces and nephews and a great-aunt to 20 grandnieces and nephews, all of whom she loved deeply.
Beverly grew up in Malden, Massachusetts, and graduated from Malden High School. She later lived in Stoneham, where she built a career in the mortgage industry before relocating to Florida in 2011, where she made her home in Ocala.
Beverly will be remembered for her fun-loving, energetic nature and her distinctive laugh that was truly one of a kind. She brought lightness and joy wherever she went, leaving a lasting impression on everyone she met. She had a special way of taking care of those around her, always putting others first and making sure no one felt alone.
She loved reminiscing about cherished memories with family and friends, holding close the moments that mattered most. Her kindness and generosity extended beyond people, and her love of animals meant that many creatures large and small called her house home.
Beverly’s spirit, her laughter, and the love she gave so freely will live on in all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be held at her home on May 2, 2026, at 2PM. Friends and relatives are all invited.
Countryside Funeral Home, 9185 NE Jacksonville Road, Anthony, FL has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
