Beverly Roberge Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Ready Funeral & Cremation Services - South Chapel on Sep. 24, 2024.
Beverly J. "Bev" Roberge, 88, of Burlington, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2024, at Birchwood Terrace Healthcare with her family by her side.
She was born on August 18, 1936, to Edith and John Greene. Bev was a stay-at-home mom then worked at Burlington Health & Rehab and UVM Medical Center after the passing of her husband Donald in 1981 until her retirement in 1997. She enjoyed swimming at the Edge for 40 years and made many friends during that time. Thank you to Jim Mullen for the many years of rides for our mom to the pool. She also enjoyed family time celebrations dining out at her favorite restaurants, Olive Garden and Texas Roadhouse.
Bev was predeceased by her husband, Don and her brother, John Greene. She is survived by her children, Robin Roberge (Michele), Donna Dumas, Scott Roberge (Jada), and Rhonda Cote (Mike); her nephew, Little Johnny Greene; as well as grandchildren, Jerritt, Adam, Josh, Cale, Logann, Taylor, Madison, Travis, and Carly.
Our family would like to thank some very special staff members at Birchwood Terrace Healthcare who provided exceptional care for our mother during her stay there. You know who you are! We would like to thank the wonderful staff from Bayada for stepping in and helping make our mother's last days comfortable and for the amazing support they provided our family during her final days here on earth. We would also like to thank Lisa Steffington and the ladies at Salon Capri for the many years of making Bev look and feel like a million bucks.
Calling hours will be held at Ready Funeral Home - South Chapel, 261 Shelburne Road, Burlington, VT on Friday, September 27th from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A memorial service will then take place at 12:30 p.m. and inurnment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. A celebration of Bev's life is being planned for a later date.
